Proxmox Cluster

I’ve built a Proxmox Cluster to create a powerful and scalable home lab. Recently expanded to 3 nodes to distribute resources and workload.

Scalable Multi-Node Cluster

Expanded to 3 nodes to distribute workloads, increase reliability, and improve system performance.

Containerized Workloads

Runs lightweight, efficient containers for tasks such as AI model deployment, media streaming, and file management.

Gaming Virtual Machine

Virtual Machine with SR-IOV Passthrough combined with Sunshine to enable a gaming computer that can be accessed by any computer in my home.

Experimental AI and LLM Deployment

Supports running large language models (LLMs) for experimenting with AI technologies, offering GPU acceleration and resource optimization.

Jellyfin Media Server

Hosts a high-performance media server for seamless streaming of movies, TV shows, and music across all connected devices.

While building this cluster, I learned a lot about how to:
– Distribute resources across a cluster
– SR-IOV and how Linux blacklists devices
– Accessing APIs through HTTP
– Virtual Network Bridging
